Course Layout

Whitecourt Golf and Country Club is an outstanding 18 hole championship facility designed by Les Furber.

A course that is enjoyable for all levels of play, Whitecourt Golf and Country Club is well known as a friendly place where visitors are welcome. This golf course is especially accommodating to juniors and young golfers receive a lot of encouragement from the club.

Whitecourt Golf and Country Club's front nine sports a traditional layout with tree-lined fairways, plenty of sand but no water in play. The links style back nine follows a slow moving creek and plays much more open with wider fairways and less trees. The course's bentgrass/rye greens are of average size and can be difficult putting due to subtle slopes on many of them.

The least parred hole on the course is the 440 yard 16th. This par four's fairway is split by the creek forcing most golfers to lay-up with their tee shots and then perform a carry over the creek on their approach.
